Felt is made of wool, bonded by processing (not weft and warp). The main features are as follows:
1. It is elastic and can be used as a material for shockproof, sealing, gasket and elastic wire clothing bottom felt.
2. Good bonding performance, not easy to loosen, and can be punched into parts of various shapes.
3. Good thermal insulation performance, can be used as thermal insulation material.
4. The organization is compact and the pores are small, which can be used as a good filter material. Due to the compact density and stable performance of felt, various felt parts can be produced by stamping.
5. Good wear resistance, can be used as a polishing material.
6. It is elastic, so it is bonded by the principle of flocking. After flocking and bonding, it can be used separately according to the size of the density and the different specifications.
7. The felt has good stretchability and can reach the specified length and can be used for leather rolling belts and papermaking suction belts.
8. Felt has good heat retention, and can be made into a felt insole of various specifications.
9. Felt has moisture retention and elasticity and can be made into car door and window seals, central door and window seals. It does not use warp weaving, so it has good filterability and can be used for oil absorption. Felt is mostly used under the oil drums of ships to keep the ships clean. Using felt to package machine parts has high whiteness, good shock resistance and noise reduction. The melody of the instrument can be modulated according to the size of the felt.
